Norwegian Association of Special Libraries

Norsk Fagbibliotekforening (NFF)

The Norwegian Association of Special Libraries (NFF) was established in 1948, and is Norway's largest association for both public and private special libraries.

NFF aims to strengthen the role of special libraries in society, research, education, business and industry through:

  • seminars, courses and meetings
  • information work and publications
  • national, nordic and international collaboration

To this aim, NFF has local branches in Bergen and Trondheim, it has a membership in IFLA, and its members are automatically members of The Norwegian Library Association (NBF).

NFF has no secretariat (office) - all work is on voluntary basis.
